The company act as a marketing company for manufacturers (the supplier), mainly overseas. Its income is derived from commission on the sales it negotiates. The Company receives orders from customers, records them and passes them on the supplier. It then monitors the progress of the orders keeping the customer informed, and at the appropriate time invoices the supplier for commission due. The company also acts on behalf of the supplier as required when a product is unsatisfactory. The company also represents suppliers at trade shows helping organize and set up stands, and to deal with samples sent.
The Company has sales offices in Wiltshire and the purchasing office is based in South Wales, with a stock room/display unit in Worcester. Solutions Marketing have sales staff who all have small numbers of customers to build confidence and create the volume of business that manufacturers require The Company managed to turnover of US$19million for last year and targeted to US$30 million this year.
